For over twenty years I have been a Resident Artist in an Environmental School. I teach nature journaling, field sketching, phenology, printmaking, mural painting, and much more! Our goal is to encourage students to look more closely at the natural world around them through art and science. The piece above is from a micro-enviromental study where students lay on the ground and map out a 1-2ft space which guides their way through a miniature world and illustrates what they discovered on their journey. This is one of my favorite projects!
